M. H. Meylan and V. A. Squire, Response of a Circular Ice Floe to Ocean Waves, J. of Geophysical Research, 101, C4, pp 8869-8884, 1996.
Contained a solution for a circular elastic plate floating on water of infinite depth. The solution was based on the fact that for a circular plate these is an exact expression for the eigenfunctions. The solution method has been superceeded by Peter, Meylan and Chung 2004.
